In short
Virus Lab is a puzzle game made by Mamed Orujov (Coaching and Consulting Center, Baku, Azerbaijan). The game has no accounts, no advertising, and collects nothing that identifies you.
What the game stores on your device
Your progress — levels finished, stars, notebook pages opened, quiz answers — and your settings, including the language and whether sound is on. This stays on your device. Deleting the app deletes it.
What the game sends, and only if you agree
The game asks once whether you agree to send anonymous usage statistics. The question has a clear “no”, and “no” is the default: nothing is sent unless you choose otherwise. You can change your mind at any time in Settings.
If you agree, the game sends:
- which screens you opened;
- which levels you started, finished or failed, and how many doses you used;
- whether you opened a notebook page or answered a quiz;
- whether a purchase screen was shown or a purchase completed.
Each message carries the game version, your chosen language, and a random identifier generated on first launch; the first message after each launch also carries your screen size, so we can check the layout fits. That identifier is tied to the installation, not to you: it is not your name, your email, your device identifier or your advertising identifier, and it cannot be used to find you.
The receiving server does not store your IP address and does not store which device or browser you use.
What the game never collects
No name, email, phone number, address or age. No contacts, photos, microphone, camera or location. No advertising identifier. There is no advertising in the game and no third-party advertising or analytics code. There is no chat, no user profiles and no way for players to send each other anything.
Purchases
Virus Lab offers one optional purchase that unlocks the full game. The payment is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card details. We receive only the confirmation that a purchase was made, so the game can unlock.
Children
The game is suitable for ages 9 and up. It contains no real diseases, medicines, treatments or medical advice; every strain and substance in it is invented. The game does not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children.
How long data is kept
Anonymous usage statistics are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. They are used to see where players get stuck, and for nothing else. They are not sold, rented or shared with anyone.
Your choices
You can refuse statistics at the first question or switch them off later in Settings. You can delete all local progress with “Reset progress” in Settings. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device.
